Join Us In Our Monthly Events

At Helping Hearts Initiative, our monthly campaigns are more than just fundraising; they're a vibrant community dedicated to making a difference. Discover how we're building awareness, fostering connection, and creating lasting impact together.

This Past Summer

This summer, we proudly hosted our largest event to date. We raised over $900 at our sleep away camp selling merchandise in support of relief efforts for the Camp Mystic flooding through SCOPE. The turnout was exceptional, with families coming together in a powerful show of unity and compassion. It was truly inspiring to see members of our camp community come together and rally behind this cause. Showing us the impact we make when we come together as a community is unstoppable.

October

This month we chose to support Food Allergy. We chose to support Food Allergy by spreading awareness. October is a tricky time to have a food allergy considering it's Halloween and it can be easy to not see every ingredient on the candy you take. We chose to spread awareness about this to make sure this Halloween more kids have the chance to participate in the fun, so they don't have to miss out or being allergic to the candy being given out!

November

This month, we chose to collaborate with the Jericho FFA Club to support the Island Harvest Food Bank. This cause was especially meaningful to us as we focused on giving back during the Thanksgiving season. We wanted to ensure that our efforts would directly contribute to helping individuals and families in need, allowing them to enjoy a better, more fulfilling holiday. By working together, we were able to donate over $200 to make sure everyone could have enough food for this Thanksgiving. We are so happy that we were able to make a positive impact during a time centered around gratitude and giving.

January

This month, we collaborated with 16 Handles to support the Blue Card Charity. This partnership was especially meaningful to us because it allowed us to contribute to an organization dedicated to assisting Holocaust survivors in need. We believe it is incredibly important to honor and support this community by helping provide essential resources and care. Through this collaboration, we were able to raise both funds and awareness, reinforcing our mission to give back and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

March

This month, we proudly partnered with the Art Club to design custom tote bags in support of efforts to combat domestic violence. Through this meaningful collaboration, we raised nearly $200 by selling baked goods, Helping Heart Initiative tote bags and hats, as well as the Art Club’s specially designed totes. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this important cause and appreciate the support from everyone who helped make this initiative a success.
